Seezona will raise funds for Breast Cancer research and awareness, by establishing its very own charity foundation - the “Seezona Foundation” that will be devoted to helping fight breast cancer, also raising awareness and funding for further research that moves the world from fight to cure.
The campaign will kick off from September 28th 2016. Our collective goal is to reach 1million registrations, for which we will donate €100,000 to the selected beneficiary. The donation will be made on January 5th 2017, and will account for all registrations made up to December 31st 2016.
*We donate € 0.10 per registration. The maximum donation will be €100,000.
Seezona is intending to make the donation to BRECT (Breast Cancer Theme Center), a breast cancer research center based at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, to receive the donation on January 5th 2017.
We have all in some way, during our lives, whether directly or indirectly, been touched by Breast Cancer. From the people behind this company, to our own families, friends and you, our community, we have all felt the harrowing effect of this disease.
Years of relentless research, campaigning and funding are devoted to the fight, yet sadly, that isn’t the end of it. Women globally are still being diagnosed with breast cancer in ever increasing numbers and it’s clear that the fight is not finished.
Seezona is a fashion start-up, created by women for women. Although the company is in its infancy stage, we recognize that fashion, as witnessed many times historically, has the ability to create a powerful companion with charity. Before our transition from start-up to “grown-up” begins, Seezona wants to affirm the core value of its DNA - that of philanthropy, social responsibility and commitment. We wish to create and foster a united community, sharing mutual principles founded on giving and helping . A community of shared value that leads by example, all in the interest of a greater cause.
