This month we got the chance to chat with Amanda Panahi, a Stockholm-based designer, mother of two, and founder of the fashion brand MandiBreeze. What are the core values of your brand MandiBreeze and why?
MandiBreeze focuses on timeless fashion and sustainable production, which is something that we are very proud of. Being a sustainable brand means that we sometimes need to hold back a bit when creating garments, as many materials today are not healthy for the environment. Having a sustainable approach and thinking long-term is more important for us than following the latest trends.
What does luxury mean to you and how do you implement it in your everyday life and style?
Luxury (when it comes to fashion) is for me garments that are made of beautiful materials and that have a smashing fit. In my everyday life, I incorporate luxury by going for timeless capsule pieces and styling them with a pair of nice boots, a statement coat, and Chanel earrings.
How do you think influencers have affected the fashion industry?
I think influencers have made fashion more accessible and inviting. Nowadays, you can follow influencers on events, fashion shows, etc., which have previously been more private events and not that accessible to other than invitees. Also, influencers are a big inspiration for many, and they make it easier for people to keep track of the latest trends.
Besides fashion, what are your interests in life? Also, what is your driving force?
Luxury in life for me is traveling around the world with my family, but also the little things like cheering on my daughter at her football training. Besides working and occasionally going out with friends (I do love a good girl’s night out) my time is spent with my family - they are my driving force!

Besides my own brand, MandiBreeze, I really like Lola Cruz Shoes – the brand has timeless pieces with a twist, which is something I really appreciate. I also think that Ayni is an amazing brand with statement pieces that I can’t get enough of. Last but not least, I like Musier Paris, they have the perfect pieces for a chic everyday outfit.
